Your images

Images you select, drop or paste into this tool are processed entirely within your web browser using the browser's built-in Canvas API. They are never uploaded, transmitted or stored on our servers or anywhere else. We could not look at your images even if we wanted to — the site has no backend that receives them. As a side effect of browser re-encoding, metadata embedded in your images (such as GPS location and camera details) is not present in the compressed output.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics to understand aggregate usage — for example, how many visitors compress an image and which target sizes are most popular. This data is anonymous and aggregated; it does not identify you and never includes your images or file names.

Advertising

This site may display advertising (such as Google AdSense) to keep the tool free. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own privacy policies; where required, you will be asked for consent. Ads have no access to the images you process — image data stays inside the compression tool on your device.

Cookies and local storage

The tool itself does not require cookies. A service worker caches the site's static files on your device so it loads fast and works offline; this cache contains only the site's own code, never your images.
